Suburban Denver

Suburban Boulder is a misnomer, there just isn’t any suburban in Denver. When we refer to "suburban Denver" we are referring to the suburbs surrounding the area. For those from other areas it is easier to identify these regions collectively as Suburban Denver.
Another common fallacy is about Denver’s geography. So many people mistakenly believe Denver is in the mountains. Actually Denver and the Suburbans to the east, south and north are in the plains. If one must have mountains, they are easily accessed by driving west about 20 minutes from Downtown.
The Rocky Mountains begin in Jefferson County, due west of the Denver metropolitan area.
Suburbia offers a variety of benefits to homeowners. Convenience for shopping, recreation and very good schools. Seldom is one too far from a grocery store or mall. Better yet, Denver culture is only a short drive away. Or if you prefer not to drive, hop on the RTD Light Rail and watch the world pass you by as you relax.

Commuting from Denver Suburbs
The good news for commuters is most of our suburban locations are within an hour drive to Denver, be it downtown or the Denver Tech Center.
Persons wishing to relocate to the area will want to consider drive times to work centers when purchasing a home. Using MapQuest is a good way to scale your driving time. The best way to to actually make the trip, during the time you normally go to and from work. Drive times can vary significantly during different periods of the day. When bad weather makes an appearance, that too can chance the commute time.
