Commerce City is developing the Prairie Gateway which will change the face of 104th Ave., and the corridor on Tower Road and E-470 to provide new opportunities for the city. Prairie Gateway is home to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, Environmental Learning Center at the Rocky Mountain National Wildlife Refuge, youth sports fields and retail and commercial space.

Colorado Rapids Stadium - Commerce City

Dick’s Sporting Goods Stadium is the largest soccer complex in the world. The Public/Private partnership between Commerce City and Kroenke Sports Enterprises also houses Commerce City municipal hall, retail facilities, offices for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and a visitor’s center. Open 365 days a year, the 917-acre site offers 24-fields for youth soccer and the large stadium is home to the Colorado Rapids.
