Colorado Mountains are setting records for snowfall!

The month of November delivered a huge bonus of snowfall in the Colorado Rockies.  The ski areas are enjoying large snow bases of 3 feet and beyond.  Steamboat Springs has over 74 inches!

Guess it’s time to skip work and head out to the slopes!

Good News for IT Professionals

The Denver Business Journal reported this week that small tech companies are hiring at a rate not seen since the tech boom of the late 1990’s.

Greg Barman a senior technical recruiter for The Innovar Group stated, "Recruiters are seeing a general uptick.  It’s not quite across-the-board recovery, but it’s fairly broad."

OK folks in need of a Colorado Job, get your apps in.  It’s time to relocate to Denver Colorado.

Not just for kids…

Babar’s World Tour visits the Denver Art Museum, November 19

Children’s author Laurent de Brunhoff will sign his newest book, Babar’s World Tour, on Saturday, November 19th at the Denver Art Museum. Like the latest Babar book, the day’s celebration will take visitors around the globe, introducing them to an international array of cities, landmarks, art, culture, and languages. Kids will receive a "passport" to take on their museum tour, receiving a stamp for participating in the various activities throughout the galleries. Throughout the day, families and kids can enjoy special art-making projects; decorating Babar-style crowns for their journeys, and even designing their own art museum! Visitors are invited to relax in the fourth-floor reading corner, and to hear storytelling on the third and sixth floors. A book signing will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. (books will be available for sale in the Museum Shop). These free family activities will take place between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Museum admission and activities are free; no reservations required.
