		<description>Massachusetts passed similar legislation about 4 or 5 years ago. No home in Massachusetts can be sold without working carbon monoxide detectors if the home has gas or oil heat. You must have a detector on each livable level of the home and also have on placed withing ten feet of all the bedroom doors.</description>
