The long waited opening of the Hamilton Building at the Denver Art Museum, officially opens to the public this weekend. The $110,000,000 building is destined to become a Denver landmark recognizable throughout the world. Designed by Daniel Libeskind, the building defies description and is a challenge to photograph as well.

Wow, Kristal, that is a striking building. In the first photo it looks like it is about to launch or something. The building/museum will certainly attract a lot of visitors to Denver. I would like to see it myself.
Beautiful photos Kristal. I tried to post a comment a minute ago and it disappeared on me. I would love to see that building and the art collection some day.

Thanks for stopping by folks. The DAM is certainly creating quite a stir here in Denver.
You Denverites/Denveronians/Denverans(?) are a wacky bunch. Blue Bears I can understand but a broom and dust pan? It looks like a great place to visit.
