FasTracks We Aren’t Done Yet…

Img_7601 Denver metro residents remember passing the FasTracks the rapid-transit buildout that will integrate buses and trains.  Liz Rao, the new director says her biggest challenge will be to keep the whole project on time and under budget.

The time table for the project is 10 years.  That seems like a mightly long time. We have the permission to get the money….why so long?

Looks like it will be a great system. To bad it will take so long.

Salt Lake’s light-rail system was a real political hotbox. It came very sclose to defeat on a referendum. Now the public loves it. Ridership has blown away all forecasts they used. Now we’re waiting for high-speed rail between Provo, Salt Lake and Ogden. I know it will be just as popular. Hope we don’t have to wait 10 years.
