First sign of spring

Flower031807 After however many days of snow on the ground, this welcome sign that spring is here made me smile today.

Out of the corner of my eye I noticed the lovely lone daffodil, or course I had to turn the car around to get a picture. 

I wanted to share my joy by displaying it here.  One lovely, lonesome flower.

    Kristal – I recently moved to Denver and can’t believe all of the flowers that are blooming around town. Springtime is looking to be pretty amazing here (and it hasn’t really even started yet)

    I love that first lonely flower of spring. We’ve got a small band of croscusis (sp?) that emerged almost over night. They will be up on the site in a few minutes; just took the picture. Too pretty — especially after this bitter winter — to ignore.
