Today is for celebration in the land of the free, home of the brave.
Go dig out your flag and hang it high. Remember what it stands for and salute the people who have died to protect it and us.
We live in the greatest land of all, the U.S. of A. Let’s not forget for one moment how fortunate we are.
Enjoy the day, have a bar be que, watch some fireworks, rejoice, be thankful and most of all live!

Krystal I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July. We fired up the smoker and did a pork loin and it was fantastic. Unfortunately our local fireworks display was canceled due to budget constraints, but we had a good time with our food and then watching the race.

Mack, Sorry to hear your town was forced to cancel the fireworks, but that was very responsible of them. It’s more of a good news/bad news sort of thing, with the good news that at least they are taxing the homeowner’s future.
