Happy Ground Hog Day

Today the old Ground Hog saw is shadow.  As the story goes, this means we are in for 6 more weeks of winter.

Hah!  For those of us in Denver, that’s not such a bad thing.  This past January had  more days in the 50 degrees than freezing.  That’s the kind of winter I can live with!

Of course for those in the High Country, well they are replacing their snow shovels….daily!

According to the news report tonight Colorado is ahead on the water reserves.  The Western water shed has a capacity of 140%  and the Eastern shed is at 105%.  No draught this year.
