Up until now the search has been sporadic. We have looked at all the new construction. It’s really nice.
Our favorite builder is Infinity. There’s a ranch style plan at Heritage Hills to die for. The problem is, they are only releasing the lots in small phases. Then it’s a lottery system.
Plus the lots have a premium…another significant chunk of change on top of the price. Not to mention the fact that like most builders they don’t pay a commission on the lot premium or any of the upgrades. Cheap. Don’t get me started. I have to put up with builder nonsense with clients. I don’t have to put up with it on a personal level.
So we won’t.
I have always preferred resale homes. In my opinion you get a better deal. Most important you also can see what you are getting.
What you see is what you get. I like it that way.
