Lincoln Station ~ End of the Line

Img_7844 Lone Tree and other residents of Douglas County are anxiously awaiting the opening of the new Light Rail line later this month.  Right now the trains are running on schedule, without passengers.  Guess that’s all about  making sure everything works safely before passengers start boarding.

Whenever I see the empty trains running quickly alongside I-25 I get thrilled to think…it’s almost time to board.

Lone Tree, Colorado the end of the Line!

Here in St. Paul we have approval for a light rail line and are just getting started. We have one line in Minneapolis that opened 3 years ago that has been very sucessful. I hope the light rail runs from the air port to the city. Last time I was in Denver it took me as long to get from the airport to Denever as it did to get from St. Paul to Denver. :)

That’s pretty exciting stuff! I live in Portland, we were the first city to have Light Rail (MAX) I can’t imagine life now without it… that or the freeways!
