The Denver Post today had an article about the suburbs planning and building urban centers to give residents a feeling of "place." The off-base title took a negative approach, Desperate for Downtowns.
The new plans stem from improving the blighted landscape to enhancing future communities. That’s not desperate, it’s smart.
The trend is to have walkable communities where people can plug into the neighborhood. Let’s applaud the leaders/planners/builders/buyers who support this concept.
