		<description>I couldn&#039;t agree with you more.  In this market it&#039;s good to know what they paid form a short-sale standpoint, it has no bearing on price.  Sellers also play this game, I&#039;ve seen quite a few who want to list their home for what they paid, plus a real estate commission.

In the end, it&#039;s no different than buying a stock.  Over the long-haul you hope it goes up in value, but sometimes it goes down in value.
