Real estate terminology at times can be twisted by the best of agents. I hear people refer to their customers as clients only to find out they don't have a buyer agent agreement with their buyer. LOL, I don’t think most people actually realize what is going on. The majority of homeowners AREN’T buying or selling they are just taking in the news.

The buyers in the market who are losing out because they think they can “sleep on it” are the ones who are aware!

It’s not just me either. Every associate in my office is experiencing buyer competition in some way.

Let’s hope it is a trend!

We are seeing multiples here in Denver in the popular areas. Homes that are in show condition and priced right are getting multiple bids on them. I’ve working in the $400k range and have lost out on 4 homes for one couple.

Funny, the newspapers haven’t picked up on that yet!

Someday that will be the case.
In NH we’re starting to see multiple offers, especially in the under 300k range. Interesting changes happneing here.

Monika ~ I have to agree with you. As a buyer’s agent I don’t like to advise my client to write a back up offer unless the original offer is having problems that can’t be solved. Usually they are a waste of time and energy for the client.

Of course one day we won’t have as many properties on the market, then it will make better sense.
