This the a big weekend in Douglas County. August 7-13 golfers from all over the world convene at the Castle Pines Golf Club for a PGA Tour event. Retief Goosen will be back to defend his title along with Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Earnie Els and many other notables.
Next year the International dates will be moved up to July in an effort to attract more players to this wonderful Colorado golf course. The July weather is not as turbulant as in August when daily electrical storms stop play. Also a certain Tiger person might appear since the new dates are better for scheduling.
In any event golf fans love attending The International at Castle Pines.
