Some background:
We purchased our home in 1997. It was purchased to house two adults and one nearly adult child. Since we were planning to take a year off to travel around the world, we didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a house. My main focus was to buy a home that had a walk-out basement where the adult kid, which actually was 2 adult kids could live in peace and harmony with the parents.
We ended up staying nearly 8 years! My how time flies. The kid is now a Daddy, making me a Grammy (my most favorite job of all!). The house just doesn’t fit our needs.
Sure we’ve been looking at homes. We look all the time. Even when we are not working at showing homes, we will set appointments for ourselves and go look some more!
Nothing seems to fit our needs. Grrrrrr.
