Festive decorations are to be found in every neighborhood this time of year. As empty nesters, my husband I traditionally take a ride around the neighborhoods enjoying the creativity of our neighbors.
This year Larry did his homework and came up with a couple outstanding addresses, so we had specific destinations. The clear winner was this home at 1582 Meyerwood St. in the Weatherstone neighborhood of Highlands Ranch.
Early on Christmas Eve we didn’t have to fight traffic. Thankfully for us, because we got to sit in front of this delightful work of holiday art and listen while we watched. Yes, I do mean listen the homeowner not only had an elaborate but tastefully arranged front yard, but the display was coordinated to music. We tuned into the proper radio station from the warmth of our car and watched the lights bounce and blink to the beat of Christmas music.
It was delightful.
I came away wondering what these people do for a living. They certainly know how to put on a good show.
Thank you! Merry Christmas to all.
