Not just for kids…
Babar’s World Tour visits the Denver Art Museum, November 19 Children’s author Laurent de Brunhoff will sign his newest book, Babar’s World Tour, on Saturday, November 19th at the Denver Art Museum. Like the latest Babar book, the day’s celebration will take visitors around the globe, introducing them to an international array of cities, landmarks, art, culture, and languages. Kids will receive a "passport" to take on their museum tour, receiving a stamp for participating in the various activities throughout the galleries. Throughout the day, families and kids can enjoy special art-making projects; decorating Babar-style crowns for their journeys, and even designing their own art museum! Visitors are invited to relax in the fourth-floor reading corner, and to hear storytelling on the third and sixth floors. A book signing will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. (books will be available for sale in the Museum Shop). These free family activities will take place between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Museum admission and activities are free; no reservations required.
