In Colorado like most places we welcome the soft warm breezes of spring.  Of course here it means spring skiing with tons of fresh, fluffy powder (snow).

Lucky are the Colorado residents  who live in the mountains or along the range of the Rockies.  We have the opportunity to take day-skiing trips.  While others who live far away have to limit their thrills to a week or two each year, we have the luxury of satisfying the thrill of downhill most anytime.

OK, I'm really not trying to rub it in.  I know how bad it is to have the skiing itch and not be able to satisfy it. So in lieu of the real thing, here's a video my son made, one day while boarding in Wolf Creek (yes, locals do know the best places).
